摘要
Code-switching is one of important concepts in sociolinguistics. The studies related to it have extended to teaching field. In recent years, researchers have attached more importance to code-switching in class. This article mainly studies teachers' code-switching in specialized English class. The author thinks that code-switching has a positive effect on teaching, which can be regarded as a teaching strategy. Code-switching in specialized English class not only promotes teaching, but also helps relieve students' anxiety in the process of study. Meanwhile, teachers should follow the principles of timely and appropriate use of code-switching so as to make it easy for students to gain new knowledge as well as improve teaching quality.
