摘要
The hardware and software platform dedicated for design of fault tolerant control (FTC) systems was created in Institute of Automatic Control and Robotics at Warsaw University of Technology. It consists of the hydraulic installation equipped with Emmerson's instrumentation (introduction of many artificial faults is possible), DeltaV-control system and AMandD-Advanced Monitoring and Diagnostic system. Fault tolerance of certain automatic control system elements, such as sensors, controllers, actuators as well as process components consist of distribution of functional redundancy between PLC controllers and supervision stations. Appropriate control algorithms foreseen for different faulty situations can be prepared useing the platform and can be implemented in to PLC controllers.
