摘要：

Recently, intraocular injection of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) has been used during pars plana vitrectomy for various ocular diseases including macular holes. The main advantage of this technique is assisting the surgical maneuvers by visualization of the hyaloid. However, the direct effect of TA on the retina remains uncertain. We describe a case in which TA remained on the fovea after macular hole surgery. Copyright © by Ophthalmic Communications Society, Inc.
