摘要
Material fatigue is described as the cause of failure in long-term use of dynamically loaded components, but exactly what is meant by fatigue? Perhaps it is better to use a term like "life-time consumption". The concept of cumulative consumption of life-time is a way of analyzing material fatigue and failure, and to identify components that have exhausted 99 % of their life-time.
