摘要：

The distance education breaks the space and time limit of the traditional education, makes the excellent education resources be fully utilized, and maximizes the effectiveness of education. As a new type of education, only based on the current social demand for talent, distance education can cultivate the talents for the community, so it is very important to cultivate students' comprehensive vocational ability. Based on the author's work experience, this paper first analyzed the connotation of professional competence, then discussed the characteristics of distance education, and finally this paper put forward the effective ways of cultivating students' vocational ability based on the above analysis. The research results of this paper have some help to improve students' professional ability in distance education.
