Stress distribution around the tip of the dynamically propagating interfacial crack

摘要
In the paper is applied the asymptotic analysis of the deformation field that surrounds the tip of a crack, which propagates nouniformly dynamically along the bimaterial interface. Through the asymptotic analysis, the equations of motion are reduced to the system of coupled partial differential equations. The solution of such a system of equations should satisfy the boundary conditions of the problem. The solutions are the displacement potentials. By their definition the stress and strain fields around the crack tip are determined. The crack tip stress fields characteristics can be observed from the corresponding diagrams. Those characteristics are stress discontinuity across the interface, dependence of the stress field on the mixed crack growth mode and others. The complete, mathematical analysis is done by application of the Mathernatica. programming routine, which makes obtaining of the analytical expressions more reliable than the numerical approximations.
