摘要
Being against with the heterogeneous structure of composite solid propellant in meso-scale, this paper, first, introduces the idea of heterogeneous "propellant unit", second, applies multi-steps chemical reaction dynamics mechanism based on the BDP theoretic combustion model, finally, establishes the combustion-flow government equations of sandwich propellant model. Throughout numerical analysis, the effect and reasons about the variation of flame structure, burning surface geometry profile as well as burning rate with different ambient pressure and propellant stoichiometric (HTPB width) are discussed. Comparing with some other literatures, the computational results prove that the model is valid. The simulation result about the combustion process of sandwich propellant model is capable to capture meso-structure of combustion flames and offer the information about the combustion field in detail. The results can be used to verify or improve theoretic combustion model, and then offers a meaningful numerical model and research technique to investigate the macro combustion performance of heterogeneous propellant from meso-scale.
