CREDIT ANALYSIS FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR IN CANTON SANTO DOMINGO

Credit is of vital importance in different economic sectors because it facilitates the opportunity to have cash liquidity, in order to be able to meet short-term payments as well as carry out economic activities and investments that increase the profits of different sectors. In this research, it was possible to show that public and private banks offer financing plans through the granting of several lines of credits, among them, some are destined for the productive sector of the country. However, it exists the precedent of little access to credits on the sectors such as agriculture, the main activity in rural areas. For this research, the mixed quali-quantitative modality was used, with a qualitative tendency, whose investigative scope was descriptive, through the application of the survey technique, the questionnaire as instrument, which helped to identify the existing problem. The objectives of this study were to analyze the granting of loans from public and private banks, determine the main limitations to access to loans, as well as determine the preference for one of them, by the pecuniary agricultural sector of the San Jose de Alluriquin of Canton Santo Domingo of the Colorados.
