摘要
In this paper, we present a novel collision detection algorithm to real time detect the collisions of objects. We generate sphere textures of objects, and use programmable graphics hardware to mapping texture and check the depth of different objects to detect the collision. We haze implemented the algorithm and compared it with CULLIDE. The result shows that our algorithm is more effective than CULLIDE and has fixed executive time to suit for real-time applications.
