摘要
The effect of ionic strength on the removal of Cu cations from aqueous solutions by natural sorbents (zeolite, bentonite, slovakite) has been studied. The ionic strength has been adjusted using the NaNO3 electrolyte (0.001-1 M). Equilibrium data were obtained by batch experiments. Increasing the NaNO3 concentration the Cu sorption was negatively affected in the case of zeolite sorbent, while in the case of bentonite and slovakite, the maximum sorption capacity was increased. The influence of NaNO3 on the sorption of Cu by zeolite was negative, while in the case of slovakite the effect was positive. The effect of NaNO3 on Cu sorption onto bentonite was lower.
