摘要
Dealing with religious plurality in the framework of schools raises sensitive questions of a theological, political and pedagogical nature. It is the object of many studies which bring up the contradictory representations of any school's mission and of the usefulness of presenting the religious components of social facts. Questions concerning the status of truth in Christianity and the justification of a possible confessional approach to religious teachings show the necessity of a theological debate on these issues. In what way and why does a course on religion help citizenship? Must it be content nowadays to give a simply descriptive knowledge of a religion? Could it have the ambition of awakening an opening up to the recognition of plurality while at the same time allowing pupils to build up an identity?
