摘要
A small size end fire mode hybrid monopole/DR antenna is introduced and tested. The hybrid antenna combines an annular DRA and a quarter-wave monopole antenna to perform ultra wideband response. The proposed technique is used to reduce the length of monopole antenna and improve the whole impedance bandwidth. The maximum gain and impedance bandwidth is 5.5 dBi and 100% (VSWR <= 2), respectively. (C) 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
