摘要
In power systems non-linear loads are the main cause, which creates issues in power quality. Shunt Active Power filters in power system is considered one of the best filters for mitigating the harmonics present in the system, and p-q and d-q theory has been considered as base theories for this purposes. In this paper, an attempt is made to compare these two theories for tangible mitigation of harmonics in the system. Power loss in the system is regulated by using PI controller. Gate pulse for Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) has been achieved via hysteresis current controller in the system. MATLAB/Simulink environment has been used for simulation of the system and the waveform has been observed, and results are advocated with THD evaluation.
