摘要
Transient one-dimensional laser drilling with variable properties is developed for finite thickness material. The model is built by combining three different physical domains, solid, liquid and vapor. All the materials properties, e.g. absorptivity, thermal conductivity, and heat capacity, are functions of temperature. The governing equations in each domain are solved numerically using the boundary immoblization transformation. The final solution is obtained by an iterative scheme to satisfy the energy balance along the solid-liquid and liquid-vapor interfaces. In this presentation, the model and the numerical method will be discussed. Results will be presented and compared to constant properties model.
