摘要
The article deals with a mathematical model for laminar flow of intake and exhaust air in thermal energy storage filling and seals of rotary regenerative heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is considered as a complex of equivalent channels, their number and sizes depending on the specific surface and fractional free volume of thermal energy storage filling. The temperature of air and seal leakages is defined by balance equations for four zones of heat exchanger. The influence of seal leakages is suggested to evaluate by integral coefficients of heat regeneration and accumulation. Model testing demonstrates that the leakages affect the utilization of exhaust air heat significantly.
