Basic Determinants Affecting the Understanding of The Concept of Responsible Socio-Economic Development

The idea of responsible socio-economic development represents one of the most interesting concepts formed on the basis of past experiences and observations of both the economic sciences and the economic practice. The paper presents selected dilemmas related to the understanding of the concept, set in the context of the evolutionary progress of theories of socio-economic development. The authors placed emphasis on selected determinants which are deemed as fundamental for this particular approach to civilizational progress.
