摘要
The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of worry and social isolation experienced during the pandemic period on the level of alienation from academicians' professions and the effect of being psychologically strong on the alienation to academician ship. In addition, the relationship between academic performance and alienation from academicians and psychological resilience was also examined. 684 scholars from 75 provinces in Turkey constitute the sample of the study. Research data were collected by online questionnaire technique. Using SPSS and Amos package programs on the data; descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation modeling were done. According to the findings, during the pandemic period, the level of alienation of academicians from their profession increased in all dimensions. However, a negative effect was observed between academicians' alienation from themselves and research and their academic performance. A positive correlation was found between academic performance and psychological resilience. In addition, psychological resilience reduces the alienation to academician ship in all dimensions.
