摘要
Wireless communication is enhancing day by day. THz antennas play a major role to fulfill the demand of high speed and high bandwidth communication. In this paper 1 x 3 array antenna is designed with two different layers of substrates as RT5880 and Polyamide with more than 92 % radiation efficiency in the frequency band 1.6-1.87 THz and gain of 12.05 dBi at resonating frequency 1.69 THz. A C shaped slot is etched in the patch of square antenna of single element. The slot added results in improved return loss and further three elements are connected in series forming an array for enhancing gain and efficiency. It can be used in wireless body area networks.
