摘要
This study aims to analyze the types of marine energy that can be used in Venezuela, through the development of the following topics: available technologies for the use of water mass movement the as source of energy, review of investment and production cost of marine renewable energy, and comparative analysis of the types of energy of marine origin that can be used in the Venezuelan coast. Finally, locations were identified in the Venezuelan coast with potential for the use of wave energy, through the use of descriptive variables of the wave and morphodynamic parameters of sandy beaches..
