摘要
The electrical properties of an individual pure carbon microcoil (CMC) were measured as a function of extension, in comparison with the electrical properties of CMC tactile sensor element (the composite of CMCs and silicone rubber) as a function of applied load. These experiments were shown to have similar tendencies. The results indicated the transformation mechanism from mechanical signals to electrical signals on the CMC tactile sensor element, which was caused by the extension of the CMCs embedded in the silicone rubber.
