Planning for NB-IoT Smart City Network Deployment in Bandung Areas

摘要
Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) emerged as a promising communication Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) licensed in the research scenarios used for Smart City. Because of the need for services, it is necessary to analyze the needs of the eNodeB in Bandung City. The number of eNodeB is the reason for analyze analytic models and simulation NB-IoT coverage requirement. The results showed that the mean of best received signal level for all areas of Bandung City was -65.56 dBm, 8.16 dB is the mean Signal to Ratio (SNR). Based on the analysis of NB-IoT capacity planning and simulations that the eNodeB needs in Bandung area is 13 of 30 sites.
