摘要
We present paleomagnetic data on the Middle-Upper Cambrian volcanosedimentary rocks from the Zolotoi Kitat and Bateny zones of Kuznetsk Alatau. On the basis of positive fold test and reversal test it is supposed that the age of the revealed characteristic component of magnetization corresponds to the time of formation of the rocks. Analysis of Middle-Late Cambrian pole positions in the Zolotoi Kitat and Bateny zones of Kuznetsk Alatau and pole positions of the same age in adjacent structures of the Altai-Sayan folded area and Siberian Platform suggests that in the Cambrian the Zolotoi Kitat, Martaiga, and Bateny zones were individual fragments of a single island are. These fragments are a continuation of each other, and their modern relative position resulted from the 35+/-12 degrees counter-clockwise rotation of the northern (Zolotoi Kitat-Martaiga) fragment about the southern (Bateny) one. In combination with the other structures of the Altai-Sayan folded area, in the Middle-Late Cambrian the Kuznetsk Alatau paleoisland are formed a system of island arcs on the margin of the Siberian continent, within paleolatitude strip 5-20 degrees S.
