摘要
This paper estimates the effect of income inequality on crime in United States counties using both cross-sectional and first-differenced approaches. Income inequality is positively associated with crime rates in the cross section analysis, but negatively associated with crime rates in the time-series analysis. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V.
