摘要
Damping capacities exhibited a decreasing tendency in the order of Mg-8%Zn-2%Al, Mg-6%Zn-4%Al and Mg-9%A1-1%Zn alloys both in the strain-amplitude independent and dependent regions. This is ascribed to the increased values of (Zn+AI) atomic concentration in alpha-(Mg) matrix and the amount of precipitates, respectively. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
