摘要
In this paper, the 3-phase 5-level Unidirectional E-Type Rectifier used together with Input-Series Output-Parallel (ISOP) DC-DC converters has been proposed and analyzed. The three-phase 5-Level E-Type Rectifier (5L E-Type Rectifier) is fed by a high speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG). The 5-Level E-Type Rectifier output voltage is +/- 375V. The rectifier feeds an ISOP DC-DC converter that provides isolated output voltage. The second function of the ISOP converter is to balance voltage across series connected dc bus capacitors. The solution proposed has been theoretically analyzed and a design example given. Simulation results are presented in this paper. Experimental results will be presented in the final paper.
