摘要
In the present scenario, the Li-ion batteries are realistic energy storage systems in several applications due to their simultaneous high energy and high-power densities. In this work we have successfully synthesized AlPO4 coated LiMn2O4 material by chemical deposition solution prosses followed by high sintering temperature. The physical properties of bare LiMn2O4 and AlPO4-coated LiMn2O4 materials are investigated by XRD, SEM, and EDS analyser, and electronic property were investigated by impedance spectroscopy analyser. The result demonstrates that the bare LiMn2O4 nano material shows an electronic conductivity of 4.304 x 10(-4) Omega(-1) cm(-1) at room temperature whereas 3 wt% AlPO4 coated LiMn2O4 shows electronic conductivity 9.493 x 10(-4) Omega(-1) cm(-1) Thus, result shows that by coating with small amount of AlPO4 the electronic conductivity is considerable increased as compared to the bare LiMn2O4 it may be a good alternative for the existing cathode material, making it suitable for Li-ion battery application.
