The electromagnetic waves propagation characteristics of inhomogeneous dusty plasma

摘要
In this paper, the double exponential and hyperbolic electron number density distribution models are firstly established for dusty plasma. And then, the power transmission coefficient and reflection coefficient of those two models are respectively derived based on analytic method. In further, the numerical analysis is used to analyze the propagation characteristics of electromagnetic waves in inhomogeneous dusty plasma, taking rocket exhaust as a typical example. Finally, the comparison between the dusty plasma and common plasma is realized. In a word, the simulation results reveal that the transmission coefficient of dusty plasma is smaller than that of common plasma, and it increases with the increase of incident wave frequency.
