摘要
In this article a rate-independent plasticity theory is presented that aims at describing the plastic behavior of incompressible, but hydrostatic pressure sensitive metals as experimentally observed by Spitzig and Richmond [Spitzig, W.A., Richmond, O., 1984. The effect of pressure on the flow stress of metals. Acta Metallurgica 32, 457-463]. The presented theory leads consistently to a non-associated flow-rule, without the need of introducing an arbitrary potential function. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
