Effect of WO3 on microwave dielectric properties of BaO-Nd2O3-4TiO2 system

摘要
The physical and microwave dielectric properties of the Ba0-Nd2O3-4TiO(2) system have been investigated as a function of the amount of WO3 (1 mol% - 7 mol%) addition and sintering temperature. Dielectric constant, apparent density and unloaded Q value of the pure BaNd2Ti4O12 specimens depended upon sintering temperature. As the amount of WO3 increased, secondary phases such as BaWO4 and BaTi4O9 were increased. Dielectric constant decreased while unloaded Q value increased with increasing WO3 contents, which was due to the presence of secondary phases and composition variations of the matrix phase, BaNd2Ti4O12.
