Calibration data sheets that accompany every flowmeter purchased are used to. verify flowmeter performance characteristics. The K-factor on each data sheet provided is the number of output pulses the flowmeter produces per engineering unit of the volume throughput. Engineers can be confident that the K-factor helps provide a true indication of flowmeter accuracy, linearity and repeatability.
