摘要
In this paper, a single-switch based high voltage gain DC-DC converter is proposed. The proposed converter is used the voltage multiplier (VM) cells to increase the voltage gain. The proposed converter has low voltage stresses across the elements. In this paper, the proposed converter is analyzed for all operating modes. Meanwhile, the proposed converter is compared with recently presented converters of the same type to demonstrate its capability. Then, a 400W prototype of the proposed converter is implemented and the extracted results are presented to confirm the given analytical results. Due to having continuous input current with low ripple, the proposed converter is more suitable for application in photovoltaic systems. Finally, to verify the performance of the proposed converter to extract the maximum power from PV, the simulation results from the PSCAD software are used.
