摘要
Information and communication technology talents are a new type of talents that only emerge with the rapid development of technology in the 21st century. Many aspects of those people who exhibit extraordinary talents in technology field deserve wide attention. In this article, the author went over the extant literature and integrated researchers' findings to offer readers a comprehensive grasp of these people. Many key issues such as the definition of technology talents, factors that influence people's technology talents, instruments to identify and measure such talents, gender issue in technology field, and school system's role in educating these talents are addressed. By reviewing relevant literature, the implication of studying this field and the future direction of research are also discussed.
