摘要
Stellar interferometers use delay lines to stabilize the location of white-light fringes, which would otherwise drift as a star moves across the sky. In principle a vacuum delay line should be used, but in practice many interferometers have used air delay lines. We examine the effects of dispersion and illustrate how it degrades our ability to track fringes.
