摘要
In the present paper, based on the bubble theory, streamer discharge has been modeled and simulated in a water gap of 5mm length under the action atmospheric pressure. The streamer channels (plasma) were followed at each time step. The objective of the study is to follow the initiation, growth, and branching of the streamer discharge channels in the water in each step of the streamer discharge, then to identify as many streamer discharge characteristics between the two electrodes (point - plane configuration). The results show that the streamer velocity increase with the increasing of the streamer time development and show the growth of two types of primary and secondary streamers. The streamer properties fluctuate around the average values and depend on the applied voltage and the streamer channel lengths. Also, in general all average values of streamer properties increase with increasing of the applied voltage except the average of the mobility of carrier charges (mu c) decreases with increase of the applied voltage.
