摘要
A theoretical analysis to capture CO2 using different aqueous single and blended alkanolamine solutions in a hollow-fiber membrane contactor has been performed. The aqueous solutions of monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP), as well as aqueous blends of MEA or DEA with AMP or MDEA are considered. The aqueous solution of MEA has the highest CO2 absorption flux among the single amine solutions. For the absorption in the blends of (MEA + MDEA), (DEA + MDEA), and (MEA + AMP), the flux increases as the concentration of MEA or DEA increases. For the (DEA + AMP) system, the flux of CO2 is observed to be almost constant with different blend compositions. The absorption fluxes of CO2 in the blends of (MEA + MDEA) and (MEA + AMP) are higher, compared to those in other blends.
