摘要
This article is part II of a study of the psychological health of primary caregivers of home-based older adults with dementia in India, Taiwan, and the United States. Indian caregivers had the lowest level of all aspects of adverse psychological health, whereas Taiwanese caregivers exhibited the worst outcomes. Predictors for psychological health in each country were distinct. After adjusting for an indicator of caregivers' residence in India, education about caregivers' needs and governmental financial support were identified as necessary interventions. These findings suggest the need for separate prediction models for psychological health for caregivers in developing and developed countries.
