摘要
In the context of a world bound to be conscious of its historical character, E. Weil tries to raise anew the Aristotelian question of what is just "by nature." At a distance from whatever essentialist fixation, law plays in his presentation the role of a judgement of reason grounded (always) in finitude: between moral foundation and positive translation, between social regulation and political discernment, between abstract globalization and a universalisation rich of meaning. This indispensable institution of freedom does not require a foundation in the Absolute spirit (as in Hegel), but maybe it is compatible with the original right of the other human being (underscored by Levinas).
