摘要
Determination of the mechanical damage of grains resulting from physical handling in a dryer is useful for the dryer operator to adjust the drying conditions to minimize such damage and to select appropriate drying technology. A colorimetric method was used to quantify mechanical damage to grains. This paper presents the colorimetric method and typical experimental results on damage occurring in spouting of wheat in a newly developed rotating-impinging jet spouted bed.
