摘要
The proportional navigation (PN) guidance law applied to the intercept of a nonmoving target is investigated when the interceptor has arbitrary time-varying velocity. When the proportional constant is greater than unity, intercept occur for all initial conditions, except for the case when the interceptor is moving away form the target initially along the line of sight (LOS). When the proportional constant is greater than 2, the intercept will end in a direct collision course, with the required normal acceleration being zero for the interceptor.
