摘要
Polyhydroquinoline derivatives have been efficiently synthesized via one-pot condensation of ethyl acetoacetate, dimedone, NH4OAc, and the substituted aromatic aldehyde using cost-effective synergetic catalytic system basic bleaching earth clay and PEG-400. The highlight of present protocol includes catalyst recyclability, excellent yield, shorter reaction time, and use of green catalyst and solvent. Synthesized derivatives were also screened for their antioxidant activity was evaluated by 2,2-diphyenyl-l-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay methods.
