摘要
The direct numerical simulation (DNS) of turbulent heat transfer in a two-dimensional channel flow was carried out for various Prandtl numbers ranging from 0.025 to 5.0. The present study is to propose a turbulent heat flux model based on the linearity principle in consideration of the Prandtl number effect and to compare the model with the DNS data. In addition, the instantaneous profiles of the temperature fluctuations and budget terms in the transport equation of the turbulent heat flux are visualized with the use of the DNS results. The effect of the Prandtl number is discussed.
