摘要
Single-chip impulse-radio ultra-wideband (IR-UWB) transmitter and receiver have been developed by 0.18 mu m CMOS technology. Bit error rate (BER) using on-board bow-tie antenna was measured. Wired interconnection between transmitter and receiver gave the upper limit of BER = 1 x 10(-12) at 95 % confidence leveL In the case of the wireless interconnection, BER was measured for several distances with spurious environments, and HER = 6.89 x 10(-9) was obtained. Measured BER was fitted by error function with respect to the signal to noise ratio.
