摘要
Spontaneous combustion theory, which has been studied since 17(th) century, cannot be explained sufficiently even today. In this study, it is aimed to present an approach to this subject thermogravimetrically. For this purpose, ignition temperature, ignition temperature to weight ratio, maximum burning rate and maximum burning temperatures of various coals have been determined. Tendency to spontaneous combustion has been characterized by crossing point temperature. The relation between crossing point temperature and thermogravimetric parameter has been investigated and the model has been set-up. This model which includes thermogravimetric parameters can be used for prediction of spontaneous combustion tendency of coal.
