摘要
In this study, we developed a solar PV DC refrigerator with cool-storage that essentially consists of PV cell array, storage battery, controller, cool-storage chamber and DC refrigerator, and compared it with the PV DC refrigerator without cool-storage and household refrigerator. The comparison results show that this refrigerator is not better than the solar PV DC refrigerator without cool-storage in terms of power consumption, and the running rate is 20.8% higher but the on-off frequency of compressor is reduced by almost 50%. It also significantly outperforms the conventional refrigerator in terms of power consumption, running rate, and on-off frequency, with a decrease of 15.3%, 26.8%, and 74.2%, respectively. This refrigerator is a "green household electric appliance" that is particularly suitable for remote mountainous areas or nomadic areas where conven-tional power grids are not available.
