摘要
As an alternative to scalar controlled induction machines, this work investigates the application of direct flux vector control (DFVC) for parallel-connected synchronous machines in multi-motor-mono-inverter (MMMI) setup. The proposed comparative stability analysis is developed from the linearized small-signal model to demonstrate the limitations of scalar control as well as the feasibility of DFVC for synchronous machines. The proposed DFVC scheme is validated in experiments on two nonidentical parallel-connected permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance (PM-SyR) machines in MMMI setup with fan loads. The system is observed to be stable with good resilience to external disturbances.
