摘要
Although several techniques for calculating the reliability of coherent binary systems of independent binary components have been developed in the reliability literature, the mathematics involved in these techniques is very tedious. In addition, although the minimal path Vectors of a coherent system are defined in the reliability literature, a mathematical or algorithmic method for finding these sets has not been provided; instead a visual inspection of the structural diagrams is used. This paper presents two BASIC language programs, one for making reliability and structural importance calculations, and one for finding the minimal path vectors for such systems.
