摘要
From the 1930's to the 1960's electrostatic accelerators were used primarily for nuclear structure research. This has changed dramatically in the decades that followed. This talk will discuss die applications and their effect on accelerator design and performance. The most recent use for electrostatic accelerators is in the field of pharmacokinetics, which is discussed with a tentative look to the future.
