摘要
Miguel Fisac (1913-2006) was one of the protagonists of the return of modern postulates to Spanish architecture During the fifties, his professional career stood out, among other things, thanks to the construction of some buildings, such as the such as Centro de Formacion del Profesorado de Ensenanzas Medias y Laborales (1953-1955), within the educational framework under the patronage of the National Ministry of Education. Fisac. usually based his works on other he had previously done to grant certain continuity in his style, which was reflected not only on technical aspects but also in spatial ones Thus, he could always improve the resources used previously as long, as the project's spending plan allowed it. The Project carried out in the University Campus arises fro in the proposals, from the Labour Institutes he had finished in Daimiel, Hellin and Almendralejo, adapting it to new conditions since there was nothing left of the use of the vernacular as material for the project because it was a work with a prominent urban profile due to its logabon, Madrid In this series there was a great interest in the design of all the elements, from construction materials to the minimum detail. This way of conceiving architecture is understood thanks to his project plan which the architect wrote indifferent documents where he stressed the methodological aspects of architerture- as well as to the diverse influences collected in the trips he made during those years. In the work carried out in Madrid, it can be appreciated a great interest to convey a Gesamtkunstwerk (a piece of work which combines different artistic disciplines) as it was conceived taking into account three completely different techniques which are, however, closely related to each other. In the first place, material were studied in depth. Bricks, were used as the main element in combination with original concrete arcades with wavy silhouettes. The aim of these was to emphasise the flowing nature of concrete in its origin and its capacity to adapt to any mould. Secondly, landscape was considered the main protagonist of the building. For this purpose, the architect used gardening to create a dialogue between both. The design of outdoor spares was not taken as a simply complementary element, but as an essential part of the project In the gardens they placed a sculpture by Jose Luis Sanchez, one of the multiple artists with whom Fisac worked throughout his career Finally, it is important to stress the choice of the furniture for the building which showed a continuity with the scholar series of the Labour Institutes.
