A software package for optimizing rice production management based on growth simulation and feedback control

摘要
To monitor the impact of weather on rice crop production and make cultivational decisions following changing weather, a software package was presented that combines vice simulation with cultivational decision by using cybernetics theory. According To rice canopy appearance, weather, soil, and fertilizing and irrigation management, the future dynamics of rice growth and development was simulated and predicted by using a ser ies of simulation models. The cultivational decision, which is well matched with the current year's weather, was made by means of system cybernetics theory based on a comparison between the predicted and desired dynamics of rice canopy, and several responsive cultivational decision-making models.
