摘要
Present solar radiation data for the Republic of Croatia is inadequate and insufficient. Arbitrary use of different input data can cause different projected energy production for the same solar energy conversion systems on the same location. The Energy Institute Hrvoje Pozar and the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Entrepreneurship initiated the project "Solar Radiation Atlas of the Republic of Croatia", the most comprehensive and universal outline of solar radiation data for Croatia. The Atlas is based on insolation measurement and cloud cover observation. Beside solar radiation component data and daily profile for horizontal, tilted and vertical surface with different orientation, it contains Sun path diagrams and detailed climatological data for over forty locations in Croatia.
